As someone has already stated before me, Irish president De Valera spelled his name as Éamon, not Eamon. Therefore, he should not be mentioned in the entry for Eamon - but rather, in a to-be-created entry for Éamon. [noted -ed]
I'm not overly keen on this name, mostly because of Éamon de Valera (his name should have a fada - forward accent - over the first "e"). He blatantly refused to let women fight with weapons during the Easter Rising.

It's not a bad name, but I still associate it with that one hit wonder idiot with his stupid track F**k It. Good thing no one will remember that guy by 2014. I personally think the name is okay with either pronunciation, and it sounds very Irish, not like a Rasta greeting or any silly stuff like that. Actually, the name is rather out of place elsewhere.
