I love this name! It sounds so pretty, cute, and a bit tomboyish too. And it isn't popular at all. And it's an Irish name! (Which is like a plus for me because I'm Irish.) It's much nicer than Éadaoin, which sounds old-fashioned. In my opinion, Eadan and Éadaoin contradict each other; Eadan is young and rebellious, while Éadaoin is mature. Anyway, I think Eadan is a lovely name and if I ever have a daughter her name will probably be this.

If it's pronounced "eden", then I prefer "Eden". But I have a sneaking suspicion it's supposed to be pronounced something like, "Ethan". Well, in any case, even so, I'd still prefer "Ethan" even if it is.
