Edith Melba Artois (nee la Fan) also known as Madame Edith is a character from the BBC sitcom Allo Allo which made fun of WW2 movies. Madame Edith is the jealous wife of the main character René Artois and fancies herself a cabaret singer despite being completely tone deaf.Great show, great character!
