Dymphna

I thought this was Greek when I first saw the name, I remember giving this to a Greek character in a story 10 or so years ago. Still a really pretty name!

Beautiful! This is one of the prettiest names out there and I will definitely be giving this name to a future child. I love the association with the Saint. Saint Dymphna is the patroness of the mentally ill, incest survivors, runaways, and psychologists. I’ve always loved her and loved this name. It’s so beautiful and mature, it’s a shame that so many people don’t know about it!

I think this is a really nice, quirky, and unusual name. It's quite mystical-sounding and would really suit somebody kind, and yet a bit eccentric in personality. :)
