Die anna!
The English pronunciation is the best! I love the meaning as well.
In Poland, it's a two syllable name, pronounced DYAH-nah.
The name "Diana" never gets old. It has pleasurable meaning and lovely sound, especially when it is pronounced "Deana". I am blessed to have this name on me. Due to its elegance, I never carried a middle name so I can keep the beauty of "Diana", heavenly divine.
Pronounced:
De-AW-nuh
Dee-AHNA
Die-ANHA
Dee-AH-Nuh.
Czech pronunciation is also "dee-AH-nah".
Italian pronunciation of "Diana":Dyah-NahFor "Di," stress your "I" to "EE." "A" as found in "Father." Up to this point the previous equals: Dee-Ah, though when spoken typically morphs to "Dyah." Round it all with the final "A," "Nah." [noted -ed]
Czech and Slovak pronunciation is "Dee-AH-nah".

This name is very pretty with the original Latin pronunciation (dee-AH-na). The pronunciation of English speakers (die-ANN-a) leaves me cold. A real shame, in my opinion.
