I guess Rick could be used as a nickname?
Better than Derek, which looks caveman. Derrick is refined and modern.
I really don't like this name, I prefer Derek.
Sounds like the name of a type of fish to me for some reason.
This is quite a handsome variant, but I wouldn’t use it due to confusion. If this was the usual spelling I would for sure use it!
I like this spelling much better than Derek, mainly because Derek looks like it would be pronounced "Dy-Reck".
I used to love this name when I was a kid. I was determined I was going to name my first boy this. But now it just seems so 90's and like a Ken doll should be named this name.
Another meaning of "derrick" is a scaffold or tower supporting a pulley apparatus. I think it's a nice name for a man any way it is spelled.
All I have to say is my husbands name is Derrick. In short this spelling is as unique as he is, that's just the way I like it, aha aha.
Of the two forms on this website I think I like Derek better than Derrick but I truly like Darik more than all of them. I'm not sure if it's an actual name but it looks better to me. More exotic.
