So my name is Delores yes I am a grandmother now, but I was not when my when my mom and dad gave me the name. Live long enough and everyone's name become a Grandma name.

My grandmother is named Delores. She's a very strong willed, confident, straight-forward woman. Honestly she is the only person I have known with this name. So when I hear this name I think of a strong woman that isn't afraid to be herself and take the reigns of a situation. Although I would not name a daughter this it is good for those who want a strong sounding no nonsense name.
