Danilo

I like this version of Daniel. I had a child in my class a couple years ago with this name. His mother is Italian. I think Danilo is a sweet name for a boy.

Love it! Love how it sounds, DAH-NEE-LOH. Such an interesting name.

I don't care about how some racist has that name. I love how it sounds and I love how it's not popular. I named my son Danilo and we get a lot of compliments on the name. Not one person has mentioned him to me and that's probably because people have forgotten about him and have decided not to give him another thought.

I thought Danilo could make for an interesting middle name until I googled Danilo Larangeira... I always thought skin color issues were mostly an American thing (yes, I'm an American so I can attest to it), but reading about Danilo Larangeira's prejudice towards a fellow Brazilian (which is a VERY mixed culture) lets me think that skin color might be an issue all over.

Anyways, the name is now ruined for me. It has an interesting sound as "duh NEE loh". I have better names on my list anyways.

This is an ugly version of the nice name Daniel. I don't really like it. It also reminds me of racist footballer Danilo Larangeira.
