Though most people use the kanji 大輔, I still prefer 大介 more. The reason why because it is different and special.
It reminds me of the Japanese word 'daisuki', meaning love or really like. It can be used in these sentences: 'I really like (what you like).' Daisuke is a good name for a boy anywhere on the world. 'Dai-skey'.
This is a cool name! :D.
To me, it just has the right kind of sound for a boy. I've also heard it pronounced Dai-skay in anime dubs where the "u" sound is almost completely silent.
Strange, I see "Daisy Duke".
I really like this name because I thought it was pronounced Die-sook-ee. I'm not sure about it though. A cute nickname would be Sukes. I used this name for a female character in a story.
I really like this name. I didn't used to but that's because I thought it was pronounced "day-SOOK-ay," but the real pronunctiation changed my mind. And after looking at some "suke" names, I've come to a conclusion. Does "suke" mean "help"? And as a Naruto fan, I'm wondering what Sasuke means.
