In Danish the pronunciation of Dagmar is like “ DOW- mar”, just like Magnus is “MOW- noos”. Not like the Swedish “DAK - mar”. [noted -ed]

In Denmark it's pronounced more like 'dahl-mahr' much more feminine and regal then 'dag-mar' I think. :)
