I'm Turkish and no one would name their children this except for the Turkish equivalent of parents who spell Erica as Airwrecka. And it goes without saying that the name is completely unusable abroad.

I know that it's pronounced differently in Turkish, but the spelling of the name looks like "cum her".

I normally like Turkish names, but I don't like this one. It makes me think of the propaganda newspaper Cumhuriyet.
