I'm sorry, I just absolutely dislike this name. It has never seemed like a real name to me and it sounds so fake and forced. It also reminds me of the word "crispy"... yuck!

If you ever name your kid Crispin, you might get sued for the trademark name infringement by potato chip manufacturers. Just a warning.
I love the name Crispin! It's my favorite name for a boy and has been for quite a while already! If I would have a boy today, he would defenitly be called Crispin Lyall NN: Crisp or Chris.
Ok, I have to agree with most of the comments... it does remind me of a potato chip or something crunchy. As far as a name, I sort of like it, but then I don't really like it at all. It sounds ok with a few other names that would be ok for someone else's kid, not mine though.
Although I would never use this name, I think it is rather unusual and strange, and because of that, I - sort of, in a strange way - like it, partly, I think too its rarity and its unusual sounding-ness. :)
The name seems ridiculous to me. It sounds like the adjective 'crispy', and it makes me think of cereals. I remember that this was the name of some host on MTV Europe way back in 1996 and 1997, and he wasn't one of my favorites for whatever reason (I doubt I really understood what he was talking about), and I already loathed the name then.
I like this name. It's cute for a little boy and dashing for a man. Unfortunately, it is probable that someone named Crispin would be teased to no end.
WOW! What a name! The CRIS is stylish and the PIN is humourous - it's a winning combination. If God had a name I have no doubt it would have been CRISPIN.
