I love this name. Fits right in with Olive, Violet, and plenty of other modern nature names. A couple of nicknames to choose from-- Clove, Clovie, Cleo, Clo, Vera. It's one of those names that *feels* vintage and timeless, even though it's only been in the top 1000 within the last few years. It's rising quickly too, and it's been identified on several naming websites as an up-and-coming favorite. ...now if only my husband liked it lol.(Special mentions to the show "Totally Spies", which introduced me to the name, and "The Hunger Games" for having a character named Clove.)
Cute for a pet. Cool for a middle name. Strange for a first name. Just go with Chloe for a first name. Or use this on a pet or as a middle name. Both work great.

I love this name. I could see it as a first or middle name and I remembered it out the blue from watching the show Totally Spies growing up. I think it would age nicely. A Grandma named Clover is still sweet. Moms and grandmothers are the best!

I'm usually not into unusual names like this, but I really like this one. Makes a great middle name.
This is SUCH a cute name, but sadly I don’t know if I can see this aging well :/

I love this name! If I ever have a daughter, I want to use it as a first name. If I'm brave enough, that is. If not, middle name it is! I do worry other people see it as a silly hippy name. But it is so pretty to me! My associations include Ireland, 4-leaf clovers, and nice peaceful meadows. I can picture a girl or woman of any age with this name. I would actually love it if it were my name.
Oh this is so beautiful! This is perfect for a girl born in March! (Especially St. Patrick’s Day) In my opinion it’s feminine, spunky, unique, and perfect as a first or middle name. I would love to meet a girl named Clover.
My name is Clover and I see it as a unique name. As it is a plant I don't like to give it a specific gender as myself being non-binary (they/them NOT she/her) it's sweet but is a proud name for me. Nicknames like Clo or Clove are just sweet and simple. I can also see Clover being a bad arse name and I like to see myself that way. This is my interpretation of my name!
I love this name! So soft, pretty and sweet! I also love Willow, to be honest. I would use this on a girl anytime, it reminds me of a SWEET, HAPPY, KIND, SHY, IMPRESSIVE, ROLE MODEL little girl!
I think this name is sweet. But, mostly it makes me think of the movie Bambi. Is there a bunny or a skunk with that name? It feels too cutesy and little-girl to me to really be a name for a grown woman. I could see it as a middle name though.
I gave birth to my first and only child in March 2011. I chose Clover for a name because it represents what she was made from- love. You need love to spell Clover. A Clover is three heart shaped leaves bonded together. It perfectly represents the bond between child, father and mother. We are three hearts that beat as one. Her name is Clover Victoria. I love her name and the meaning behind it.
One of my favorite names. I would be delighted if someone I knew named their baby girl Clover. I like it much more than Chloe or Clothilde.

Clover is a really pretty name that goes well with Daisy for twins or for first name/middle name. It reminds me of pretty clovers and luck. A brilliant choice!
My name is Clover. I am complimented on it all the time. I think it is a name for females, because it sounds feminine. People call me Clo for short. I've only met one other person named Clover!
I love this name! Wanted to use it for my daughter so much. We didn't want to repeat letters in first names, my husband has a C name, hard c like Clover and our son had a K name. I came so close to naming her that anyway. If I get blessed with another girl I will use it. Love the name we chose for our girl, but the name Clover, I just love it!
I really love the name Clover. It may be a bit hard to pull off, but I find it really quirky and adorable.

Clover is a beautiful rarity of a name! Most definitely not "just a pet name"--what in the world would make one think that? Especially when you've got humans actually named Princess and such. No, Clover is lovely. The only time I've heard it applied to anyone is in the "Totally Spies" cartoon, where it stands because the other names (Samantha, Alex, Mandy) are so ordinary. That Clover is a total girly-girl--obsessed with cute boys, popularity, and hanging out at the mall. She's still a good spy and friend, though. But my natural impression of the name would conjure words like "natural," "hippie-ish," and "strong."
Clover is such a refreshing, lovely, beautiful name for a girl! It makes me think of pretty clovers and the character Clover from Totally Spies!. I would definitely use this name myself. And I strongly believe this IS a "people name". :)

This name is adorable... for a cow, bunny, or guinea pig. This is not a people name.
Definitely a cow-name, not for a person. If you want to name a girl after a plant, name her something like Rose, Lily, or Violet, even the still-unfashionable Myrtle, something established, not Clover.
I love the name Clover, in fact I named my beautiful daughter Clover Lee. I think it is both strong and ordinarily unique. How can you hate a name that is filled with "love", and associated with luck?

That's my name. I was born 17th of March too. My hair is sort of auburn too. And I'm Irish. My eyes are emerald green. Suits me, doesn't it?
I like this name! Unusual, but not hard to spell or pronounce, and very cute and feminine. There is a manga called 'Clover' that has a girl by the same name, I think.
...now if only my husband liked it lol.
