One of my childhood bullies was named this- but despite all the negativity that caused in my life I could never lose my love for this name. It is so beautiful and unique!
When I was little and played with dolls, I would always name them Cleo, Clara, and Chloe. Who would've thought I would make a prophecy about some of the trendiest name in this decade? Either way, I still love the name Cleo.
This name isn't masculine at all, people complain about male names becoming feminine all the time, so don't do the same thing with originally feminine names.
I really like this name but it was also the name of my childhood cat. Cleo totally gives me cat vibes (not in a bad way.) I think this would be such a cute name on a *human* girl too.
Cleo is the name of one of my OCs, but it’s actually starting to grow on me now. It’s very cool, but also very pretty! And I don’t know anyone who is called Cleo, despite how well known the name is today.
Really like it but having trouble finding a nickname. At least I’m fairly certain nobody will see it and think of Miss Cleo anymore. That was so long ago.

Cleo is a girl in our class who likes bright colours. She also likes drawing and is kind and lovely to everyone, when people tease her, she stands up to herself, when people tease others, she stands up to the bully. But she has some anger issues, but that’s only when people tease her.

This is my name, sometimes I love it and sometimes I hate it. I'm Brazilian and I never met another Cleo before. I like that my name has a Greek origin because for some reason I really like Greece. I hate when people compare me with Cleo from H20 or Cleo de Nile from Monster High, it is annoying.

Cleo is an awesome name! I had a great-great aunt (born in 1917) whose name was Rhoda Cleo, which I adore. She went by Cleo all her life. Aunt Cleo was quite a character and a wonderful namesake. I would love to name my child after her!
I really like Cleo on a girl. It's short, sweet, and stylish. This name is very unique and creative- in a good way! I can't really imagine this on a boy, though. Also, the name Cleo really suits a cat as well.
I have always loved this name. I first heard it as a girl from the movie Pinocchio, as it is the name of the fish. I always thought it to be a girl's name but was surprised to see that it was a unisex name back in the day. I am honestly surprised this name is so rare today. I expect to see it rising in the ranks in the next decade.

I love the name Cleo because it's very uncommon and sweet sounding. It's definitely a bit quirky though.
This is my name, some days I hate it some days I love it, it's unusual and I have only came across 2 other people (both girls like myself) with the name in my whole 18 years. Understandably people spell it "Clio" and even call me "Chloe" and unfortunately I sometimes get the "Renault" shout doesn't really offend after all it's only a name, and a fun one at that, and I prefer this over something boring and common.

Cleo name comes from the Greek Cleopas. So it may be a male name. My mum's cat is named Cleo, it's a boy. :)

I think the name Cleo sounds like a girl who likes pink and ballet. I also think the name Cleo sounds like a girl who is very, very, very kind and nice.
I named my tabby cat Cleo :) She's darling, and suits the name to a tee! Would make a wonderful human name as well.

Hmm. I think of this as being more of a cat's name; though I actually really love it. I also gave a character in my novel this name. It's a pretty name, but it does sound better suited to a pet.
Huh. I always thought that this was masculine. Must be because of the o-end. I also think that this would be cute on a cat.

I like this name. It sounds better than Cleopatra. Unlike that name, Cleo is unpretentious and perfectly fine as a first name. However, the Miss Cleo association might be too much for some people.
My sister is named Cleo & she likes having an unusual, but not odd, name. If people ask how to spell it she says "like the magazine" - but she totally hates it when people read it as Chloe, the two names do look/sound pretty different!
