I was named Citlalli by my father who was fluent in the Aztec language Nahuatl. The correct spelling is Citlalli. Many latinos remove an "l" due to Spanish pronunciation of the "ll" sounding like a "Y". However, Nahuatl has no such rule therefor Citlalli with "ll" is still pronounced with an "L" sound.
