A Charlotte is a type of French bread pudding sometimes referred to as an "icebox cake". There are many varieties of charlottes, such as Charlotte russe or the strawberry Charlotte, which is called "Charlotte aux fraises" in French.Subsequently, the name of the children's cartoon character, Strawberry Shortcake, is called Charlotte aux Fraises in French. (note that strawberry shortcakes and strawberry charlottes are not the same food)
You guys haven't even mentioned Charlottetown in the province of Prince Edward Island in Canada... classic French name for female that can age beautifully. Also, Charlotte is a dessert name, similar to bread pudding filled with custard and strawberry that can be served both hot and cold.

Charlotte Nilsson or Perrelli is a Swedish singer who represented her country in 1999 Eurovision and 2008 Eurovision with the songs "Take Me To Your Heaven" and "Hero". I kid you not, there is a Peanuts character named Charlotte Braun. Yes, Charlotte Braun! She was known for her loud, booming voice. She first appeared in the comic strip on November 30, 1954; however, she was disliked by fans, and so Charles M. Schulz agreed to eliminate her. She made her final appearance on February 1, 1955.
