Cassiopeia

I absolutely adore this name, it is my favourite girl's name. I love the fact that it is a star constellation and that it originates from a Greek myth. There are different ways of pronouncing the name, I first came along the name in a book and pronounced it as 'CASSIE-O-PEE-UH' But then went on to learn that there are different ways of pronouncing it such as 'CASSIE-A-PEE-A' and 'CASSIE-UH-PEE-UH'.
I personally drift between both 'CASSIE-O-PEE-UH' and 'CASSIE-UH-PEE-UH'
I have come to find that most British people also do that but the majority of American people pronounce it as 'CASSIE-UH-PEE-UH' it does sound lovely with their accent.

In Romania, this name is pronounced Ca-see-o-pay-ah.
I much prefer this pronunciation. I'm not too keen on Ca-see-o-pee-ah, but the name is gorgeous anyway.

In Denmark the pronunciation would be, cass-yo-'PEYE-a. Eye pronounced like an eye or the letter I.
