At first I didn't really like this name for a boy, although I love Carrie for a girl (none of the other spellings, though) but after a while its grown on me, and I think it can suit either gender, as long as it's spelled Carey or Cary for a boy :)

I love this name for a boy. I think it's adorable. If I have a little boy this is what I'm naming him.

My middle name is Carey because it's a family name. The way it's spelled is very masculine, which isn't good seeing as I'm a girl, but I like it.

This seems more like something you'd think an American would be called. It's probably how I hear it pronounced though.

This is one of my favorite male names. I would not use this or any variation of Carey on a girl, though. I hate it because it reminds me of Stephen King's book Carrie.
