Um...Turkish people would use it! Obviously unusable in the US for many reasons! Turkish form of John, and what in the world were English parents thinking?
So many ignorant comments. This is a Turkish name, pronounced like John is in English. It’s pretty common in Turkey and people there don’t think of the English meaning. Believe it or not there are some English names that would be hilarious in other countries. Don’t be a cultural chauvinist.
All I can think of is trashcan and the word can. Imagine how awkward this would be on a child.

It is pronounced 'JAN/JUN' as in Turkey they pronounce their C's as J's. I've met people with this name so I know this is how is pronounced. The solution if you had this name and were in an English school you could change the 'c' to a 'j' so there'll be no confusion.
I know it's Turkish, but this is a really ugly name! Just think of all the cruel jokes that Can come out of other kids' mouths, say, "kick the Can". I pity whoever has this name.
