Calbhach has a rugged, metallic, cold sound, but I find it strangely appealing and masculine. It has a kind of beauty to it. It's along the same vein as Fiachra and Garbhán (my favourite names). Rough, but appealing. I like Calbhach a lot.Shame about the meaning, though. I wouldn't call my child a name that means "bald". Though I always thought that "maol" means "bald" in Irish, like Gráinne Mhaol. I hope this site is wrong about the meaning!
