Brigitte

I am also Brigitte :) French...so pronounced in a very French way :)

This is my favorite variant of Bridget, I also treasure the French pronunciation.

So pretty and classy!

I think it's a rather lovely variation on Bridget, the latter just makes me think of the saint, and even if it's all well and good to be named after a saint, I think it's a bit of a burden to bestow on a little girl. My middle name was about to be Brigitte.

This name is okay, but it's not really my favorite form of Bridget. I immediately think of Brigitte Bardot and her repugnant political views.

As this is the pseudonym of the misanthropic, fascist-leaning French actress Brigitte Bardot, I simply cannot like this name anymore, even though it sounds quite classy and pretty without being too girly. Maybe it could be reclaimed, though.

Briggite is a totally cute name!
