I’m really sorry if I offend you but this is my honest opinion: I think the Brianna, Briana, and Brianne names are all so ugly. Briana/Brianna pronounced Bree-aw-nah is a little better but when it’s pronounced Bree-ann-uh, I think it’s hideous. Same goes for Brianne.
I like that this isn't a name that I hear everyday, but it's not strange sounding either. I think it sounds a lot more mature and sweet than Brianna for some reason. Maybe because most of the Brianna's I've known have been rather mean and stuck up. Brianne sounds very sophisticated and professional. I can't really picture a little kid with the name, but Bri is cute I guess.

Sounds too made up to me, but at least it's not overused like Brianna.
I prefer both Breanne and Brianne to Brianna, mostly because of the 'n' endings as opposed to an 'a' ending. (And I'm starting to like Francophone and French-influenced names more.)

I think this is an okay name. Personally, I like Brianna better, but that is because Brianna is my name. :D
I'm a big fan of this name! And for many, many reasons. I like it so much, I actually started a club. For one - it's just fun to say and can be shortened to Bri in a pinch. The Brianne I know is sassy, spunky, funny, happy, up-beat, beautiful, bright, curious, kind, thoughtful, imaginative, free spirited and thousand miles away - which is the only thing I don't like about Brianne. I know what you're thinking, just find one that's closer. Sorry I like the original. I digress. Brianne is timeless too; great for all ages. If you're looking for a name that rolls off the tongue and that people will always remember, this is the one.
