Bríd

When I was younger, I found this name very old fashioned, but nowadays I actually think it's quite a sweet and lovely name. I prefer it to Bridget. Bríd is simplistic and pretty, very Irish. But a bit flat. I think it would sound more interesting in a combo, such as Flora-Bríd, Niamh-Bríd and Éabha-Bríd. I think the combo Máire-Bríd sounds very traditional and pretty.
