"Benny" is a fantastic nickname, in my eyes. Classic, handsome... very boy-ish, in sense, but certainly possesses the ability to transfer into adult life. I would not recommend it as a sole first name... simply because it will be seen as horribly unprofessional in the business world-- the best of luck will come from "Benjamin," "Benedict," or other such related names.
