I’d use Benjamin.

This name is beautiful. I absolutely love it and it is one of my favorites.

Personally I think this name is amazing for a female BECAUSE IT'S MY NAME AND I'M A FEMALE I spell it with one T and y’all are so negative to a great name. Like actually shut ur mouth when y’all’s names are Ronda and Cassidy. Like bro get a life and stop hating on people's names.

I love the name Bennett. However, I’m not a fan of the nickname Ben.

While preferring Benedict, I like it as an alternative to Benedict, a quite obvious secular form of Hebrew "Baruch", the name of the prophet Jeremiah's scribe.

I know several people with this as a surname in UK.

So much better than Benjamin.

I had no idea Bennett was even used on girls until today. Sounds borderline awful to be honest. To each their own.

With that being said, this name is very surname-y, and I usually only hear it as a surname or a middle name, but it’s not bad or anything. Quite handsome actually. Lovely meaning.

It's an alright name for a boy, but it sounds a little surname-ish. I'm shocked that this name has been used for girls.

If I were to have a son, I'd name him Bennett Sebastian. This name is NOT for a girl.

I first learned of the name Bennett when I read about it in the original “Freakonomics” book by Dubner and Levitt, around 2005-2006. I went on to name my son this in mid 2007. The authors predicted that the name would take off and it seems that they were correct. 12 years later, we’ve been very happy with this name selection and it fits our son. He typically goes by his full name, Bennett, or occasionally, Ben.

My daughter, who is now 10, is named Bennett Elizabeth. Some call her Bennie. She’s adorable and the name suits her.

For a girl- I love it! For a boy- don’t like it at all. Way toooo feminine! All males should have strong names while all females should have all kinds of names! Girls rule! Tee hee!

I like this name, so we gave it to our cat. Bennett D'Angelo (yes, he has a middle name, because I just like names). Anyway, he's a brat, so he got the nickname Benito when we discovered that was Mussolini's first name. He mostly goes by Ben or Benny though.

We are expecting baby number four, if it is a boy we will be naming him Bennett! I love it!

I love this name.. but I don't pronounce it "BEN-NET" I like it pronounced "BE-NAY" Plus, if I have a daughter I'm naming her Benét. I think it's adorable!

I know two Bennett's, one is named after the other actually (they're not related). They both go by Ben.
