What could be more poetic than the light of the moon swiftly racing over the starry night sky, delivering magical folktales and fables in its path? I am quite convinced, in fact, that Aysel was not a name fashioned by humans at all -- rather, it was sent as a gift to the Turkish people from the gods, one that is to be used with respect. It's beautiful and strong, nicely colored, even-numbered and an amazing choice for people who like captivating meanings.
One of my favorite Turkish and Azeri names. I love the meaning. I'd name my child Aysel. BTW I pronounce it I-sel.
