In the book Sharp Objects, by Gillian Flynn, the main character's estranged younger sister is named Amity. She goes by Amma for the whole book, but she mentions at one point that her full name is actually Amity. For the miniseries, it was changed so her name really is Amma, like Emma with an A, but I wish they'd kept it because it's such a nice detail, especially for that character and also because of what it says about their mother, who picked the name.
