Alli would make a very sweet sounding, although slightly childish given name or a lovely nickname for Aliisa or Alina in Finnish, if the plural of it ('allit') wasn't slang for arm fat. This term was apparently derived from Allina "Alli" Paasikivi, the wife of president Juho Kusti Paasikivi, who wore sleeveless outfits in old age.
