I don't know why, but I feel like this spelling looks nicer than Alicia or any other variant. It adds an element of symmetry, which isn't very important, but I like it when things are symmetrical. My logic is strange.

This is as close as I've found to the spelling of my niece's name. Her name is Aleshia, pronounced Ah-LEE-sha. I am not a big fan of creative spellings, but this was my sister-in-law's choice. I think it was a spelling she came up with as a teenager.
Their are so many "creative" spellings for the Alicia/Alyssa family. The original versions are best in my opinion.

Looks like it should be pronounced ''ah-LISH-ee-ah''. What a horrible, unintelligent-looking spelling.
