I think this name is unique without being too out there. It also lends to not having a specific age demographic attached to it that, in my opinion, does this charming name a great service.

Personally I love the name Alessia, it’s so mysterious and strong.
I love Alessia, my husband and I originally named our daughter 'Alexa' but Amazon came and ruined the name. So before our daughter started kindergarten we legally changed it to save her from years of teasing. It's similar but unique and the association is more about pop singer Alessia Cara than the Amazon personal assistant. It took a bit to adjust to the new pronunciation but eventually grew accustomed to it and she loves it!
I am an Alessia, and I've got to say I love my name. I used to wish I had a more simple name, but it does feel good to have people come up to me and say "wow, your name is so pretty and unique, where does it come from?" I'm Italian, and even though people often mispronounce it (I've been called Alexis, Alyssa, Ah-lee-sia, and even Alessius) it's a wonderful name to have, and a memorable one.

We used this for my daughter back in 2007. It still garners a lot of mispronunciations and confusion. But she absolutely loves her name.

I have twin girls, their names are Andrea & Alessia. My husband chose Andrea's name, I chose Alessia's. She was originally named after my grandmother who was an Alicia. I considered naming her simply Alicia but I knew it would be butchered, everyone would say it A-LEESH-UH or jokingly call her Alice so I opted for the Italian name Alessia which sounds nearly the name. Their full names are Andrea Valentina and Alessia Veronica.

With my husband being from Sicily and it being ranked in the top ten over there, and considered rare here... perfecto!
I love this name. My parents named me Alessia while we lived in Ukraine and when left for America I started hating it but now I see how unique and pretty it is.
