Albrecht Dürer, born on May 21, 1471 in Nuremberg, where he died on April 6, 1528, was a German draftsman and engraver also known as a painter and theoretician of art and geometry of perspective. He signed his name Albertus Dürer Noricus or Dürer Alemanus or more often used his monogram. If it is necessary to differentiate him from his father Albrecht Dürer the Elder, much less famous, we say Albrecht Dürer the Younger (in German, Albrecht Dürer der Jüngere).
Albrecht (1255-1308) was the oldest son of German King Rudolf I and his wife Gertrud of Hohenburg. He later became King Albrecht I of Germany (also known as Albert I).
Albrecht Altdorfer (1480-1538) was a German painter, printmaker, draughtsman and architect, active in Regensburg.

Albrecht Durer was a German Renaissance artist who lived in the 15th and 16th Centuries. His portraits and watercolors are beautiful, but he also did engravings. He was also a mathematical theorist. A real Renaissance man.
