Alberta

This name reminds me of a duck I have no idea why.

I never knew this was a name until I just saw it on someone’s Starbucks cup. I thought it was so beautiful I felt compelled to comment immediately. Albert isn’t one of my favorite names by a long shot. It strikes me as very ordinary, but something about Alberta just seems almost magical.

I feel like this would work on a boy too.

Well, Alberta is a really unusual, rare name and it's a beautiful name! Strong name for a strong woman! Beautiful! I like it a lot! Classic, fits for every age.

To me, this sounds like a sophisticated name that ages well as the person grows older. Alberta also has many nice nickname options, like Allie, Bertie etc. I think this is a really nice and smart name!

Never really cared for this name (though never hated or despised it ) but now I find it to be very beautiful (:

I don't like "Al" or "Bert" or "Bertie" for a girl's nickname.

I have a friend with this name and she absolutely despises it and uses the short form "Alley".
