I completely disagree. People always leave comments about how a name is too long, too difficult to spell, or too difficult to pronounce, and yet these names have been used before, and people then were not troubled by them. I ask then, why should we be now?This is quite a nice name, especially if one uses the ancient Greek pronunciation, IPA [ai'as], though in modern Greek it would probably sound something like [e'as]. I far prefer this to the English form Ajax, though I believe that associations with the cleaning product may be dying out.I would definitely say that this name is still fit for use, and may even use it for one of my own sons.
