Hi, I'm Addyson. And I'm a girl. I have 3 friends that are named Addyson but they are all spelled differently but two of them have the same spelling. There is me, Adyson, Addison, and Other Addison. I don't understand why people don't like this name on girls because I am perfectly fine with my name and like it! My nickname is Addy which is what a lot of my friends call me but my aunts and uncles call me Addy bug, and mostly that but I like my nickname, Addy.
Lovely modern variant! Definitely more feminine than the surname Addison (although cute too) and I love that the nickname “Addy” is built right in! This name is strong, sophisticated and sassy! There will definitely be some Addyson's rocking the world in the years to come!
Addison is a wonderful name and adding y makes it even better. No one should ever say the awful things that are on here because I bet all those people are jealous they don't have a name as great as this one, also if you add a y it definitely makes it more feminine.
Oh wonderful. Another masculine name with a slaughtered and "feminized" spelling variation. It may be difficult for some to comprehend but 'Addison' will always sound masculine regardless of how you choose to spell it. Plus, Addison is the better spelling anyway no matter what gender you choose to place it on.For a GIRL: Adaline\Adeline, Adelaide, Addy\Addie, Adelina. Alison\Allison\Alyson\Allyson, the only 'son' suffix name that is actually suitable on girls.

If you prefer Addy spelling go this route. Looks more modern! And takes away the surname look and feel.
