I adore this site, I've been using it to name characters for almost if not a year.
I don't like obscenely common names like Mark and Luke. As a girl who met about five people with her name growing up, I consider giving someone a super-common name a curse. There's nothing quite so good at dashing your feeling of individuality up against the rocks of reality as having the same name as eight other people who are in the same room as you.
I am pro-interesting spellings of common names and uncommon names that don't sound strange or annoying.
