Gurmukhi Alphabet

Gurmukhi is the alphabet (technically abugida) used to write Punjabi in India. In Pakistan it is typically written with the Arabic alphabet.

Gurmukhi is derived from the Brahmi alphabet, which was descended from the Aramaic alphabet, which was descended from the Phoenician alphabet.
