Two years later...LN: Khoeun
DH: Narith Chakra, 27
DW: Camille Rebecca, 24
DS: Oliver Harrison, 13
DS: Martin Dominick "Nick", 10
DD: Josephine Bethany "Josie", 6Wow, this was a huge jump - from no kids to three older ones! Well, Oliver has been doing great. He has one heck of a temper, but we get along great because I was the same way when I was his age (and still can be). He has gotten in some fights, and though I have tried to be firm on that matter, he seems to find comfort in my own stories about various fights from my youth. He still is firey but releases a lot of it in hockey, which he loves. Oliver is quite the chick magnet and enjoys public school for that reason; he gets slightly above average grades. Nick, as we started calling Martin, has also been doing well. He is very quiet - we hardly hear him talk except at the dinner table. He has some (enough, really) friends that he is very close to, and he loves bringing them over. I love having them! I have always loved hosting my children's friends. He is as close to Narith as I am to Oliver, because Narith is a very calm person as well (though not silent). He gets great grades and gets along with his teachers. He had some problems with bullies for a while, until Oliver found out! Now he is doing fine. Josie is doing great as well. She refused to talk to or touch Narith and I for the first few months. Eventually Oliver and Nick convinced her that we were okay, and as her first year with us drew to a close, she got a lot better. Now she is very playful with her mom and dad. She is still very afraid of strangers, though, and hates going out in public. She will be starting first grade soon (I homeschooled her for kindergarten, as she wasn't ready for that big of a step) and she seems to be nervous but willing to give it a try. Nick will be at the same school, anyhow. She loves Val, our dog.
