Three deaths have rocked the Swynford family in the past years. The first was the elder of Marianne and Roderick's twins, Ailsa, from scarlet fever. The family is still recovering from the loss, and Robina has taken it especially hard. The second was that of Eliza's first husband, Christopher, under mysterious circumstances. Some rumors claim it was the work of his second wife, seeking to inherit his money, but nothing could be proven. Eliza herself makes no speculation, happy with her second husband Iestyn - and the four children they now have together. The last death was that of Lord Andrew of consumption, making Anthony now lord. Though he is of course an extremely eligible bachelor he remains unmarried. Simon, however, has finally had his interest kept secure by the lovely Delphine. They married after a whirlwind romance and now have two daughters together. If before her marriage Delphine was an infamous jewel thief, well, no one need be any the wiser.
