One year ago, the young Queen Fleurette's parents died, leaving their only child on the throne. As her first royal act, she married Prince Francis whom she had been betrothed to since age fifteen. Crown Prince Crispin has recently been betrothed to Princess Macaria of Aragon as a result of her previous fiance dying of sickness and his being scandalous. King Bartholomew and Queen Aldith are pleased with their sons' partners, but have yet to find Annabel a man. Annabel would like to find her own groom, and, since she's currently third in line for the throne, her parents don't really care that she hasn't found someone yet. After all, she is only sixteen.
