Re: Game of Life

Sounds like fun!
I'll be playing a woman named Zara Emiline. She has long light brown hair and green eyes.
Entry #1
My name is Zara. My husband, Matthew Solomon, gave me this diary as a present for our first month wedding anniversary. Even though its a month since we exchanged vows, I still remember our wedding day vividly. I was wearing a beautiful white wedding dress with lace and pearls. It had belonged to both my mother and grandmother. I made some alterations to it and now it is wonderful enough for the next generation to wear. Matt wore a crisp black tuxedo and has never looked more polished. Matt's dusty blond hair was slicked back and was actually somewhat under control. I'll never forget the way his brown eyes sparkled when he looked at me. Our wedding was a traditional affair--inside a church with lots of family and friends. For our honeymoon, Matt and I decided that we would go on a trip to Scotland and see all the castles and ancient buildings there. We got back a few days ago. We had a great time!
Entry #2
Matt and I have been busy these past two years. We bought a big country home and are renovating it completely. We have six and a half acres of land and hope to get some of it landscaped soon. After ten months of being married, I found out that I was expecting our first child! Matt couldn't wait to be a father. We decided not to know the gender of our firstborn. The pregnancy was surprisingly easy and when our son was born, it was the greatest feeling I've ever experienced. Matt wanted to name our first son after his father (who died when he was ten and a half). I agreed and so our son was named Hiram Lucas. Hiram is about two months old now and he is so much fun! He is sleeping about eight hours at a time now and he knows his name and is already trying to talk. Hiram has his daddy's blond hair and brown eyes, but his facial features resemble mine.
Entry #3
Our little Hiram just celebrated his third birthday! He is a darling little boy who loves playing outside and running around with our dogs, Rocky and Rusty. Hiram starts pre-school in the fall and he is very excited. Matt and I haven't told him yet, but Hiram is about to be a big brother. We've decided to adopt siblings from Israel. Isaiah Avidan is two and a half. His sister, Maya Keshet, is just four months old. Isaiah and Maya will be coming to us in about another month. We are getting preparations underway for their arrival and we know Hiram will be elated to find out that he'll have a little brother and sister to love.
Entry #4
With the arrival of our identical quadruplets, life has become a lot more hectic. Marnina Adelaide, Xenia Therese, Nicolette Raine, and Wynona Laurel are barely two months old and already we don't know how much more we can take. Hiram is four now and loves to help take care of his sisters. Isaiah and Maya arrived safely just nine months ago. They have adjusted well. Isaiah is now three and Maya is one and a half. They both like to look around rather than do something. Matt is doing the best he can with all of the activity. He takes the girls or the boys out and plays with them or watches them while I run errands. Thankfully, all of the kids take naps in the afternoon. Since we now have seven children, our once large ranch house has become small. When the girls were three weeks old, we all moved into a large Victorian house with eight bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. We love how big it is.
Entry #5
Our quads are four years old. They may have identical blond hair and green eyes, but their personalities are very different. Mari is the outspoken, bossy one. Xenia likes to draw and color. Nikki is shy and doesn't show her feelings much. Wynnie likes to show off and she spends lots of time getting into mischief. Hiram is eight and is in second grade. He is very smart and comes up with creative ways to tell his sisters apart. Isaiah is seven and a half, but also in second grade. He is doing well and is sometimes a little overwhelmed by all the younger girls in the house. Maya is just barely six. She hasn't started school yet, but next year we hope to send her into first grade. Our dogs, Rocky and Rusty have been joined by a white fluffball of a kitten. Maya wanted him, so we got him as a birthday present. She promptly named him Pyro. Hiram and Isaiah have been learning about volcanoes and Maya overheard them talking about their book (which had the words 'pyrotechnic displays') in it. Maya couldn't say pyrotechnic, so she just says pyro. Pyro is an ambitious little kitten and he climbs all over everything. On a sadder note, my sister Lillian died in a car accident last month. She was a single mother and left her two daughters to me. Sarah and Alison are seven years old. Sarie is the quieter one and she doesn't talk too much about her mom. Ally is prone to angry outbursts and she doesn't seem to trust anyone. Into this chaos, our second son, Matthew Shiloh was born. Baby Shiloh has learned quite quickly that he has to be loud to get someone to notice him. We don't neglect him or anything, but he has a pretty lusty cry for someone who is just a month old.
((Sorry, I put the pet in this entry instead of the last one))
Entry #6--Summary.
Ten years have passed and our home has settled into relative calm. Hiram is eighteen years old and he's going away to college this year. Isaiah is seventeen and is going to the same college as Hiram. Hiram is going to study agriculture and Isaiah will go to study journalism and broadcasting. Maya is fifteen, almost sixteen. She wears make-up now, but hasn't started dating yet. Maya plans to become a teacher. Our quads are fourteen and make our house much more lively. Mari has declared that she is going to become a lawyer and never get married (but she does plan on dating several guys). Xenia wants to become a children's art teacher. Nikki, ever the quiet one, is mysterious but we believe she plans on becoming a dancer. Wynnie wants to be an actress and star in lots of movies. Sarah and Alison are seventeen. Sarah doesn't plan on going to college because she's getting married in the fall. Alison has blossomed into a beautiful young lady who wants to do great things with her life. She...just isn't sure what they are yet. Shiloh is ten and likes to play soccer and wrestle with the new labrador retriever we got last spring.
