Rayce Johnson and his wife, Janet, have adopted a Chinese baby girl to thank each other for 30 years of marriage. Janet is insistent on giving the unnamed baby a Chinese name, but Rayce wants to change it to an English name that is more classic and timeless.

Successful author Alyssa Lew and her Ukrainian fiancé, Leonid, have just welcomed twins into the world, a girl and a boy. Alyssa is half Chinese half German-Anglo Saxon and would consider naming the twins a mixture of German and Ukrainian names. Leonid likes historically-linked names but does not want his children’s names hard to spell.

Greg and Emma Newton are expecting their fourth child, and they know it’s going to be a boy. Their other children’s names are Isaac Jonathan, Abraham Cain and Abigail Bethany, and since Greg is a devout Christian, they are hoping to continue the biblical theme.
