About a year and a half ago, Lily and Owen decided to go on a real adventure for their vacation and take a safari in Tanzania. Their favorite part of the trip turned out, however, to not be the animals. During their short stay in a small city before they left, they visited an orphanage. There they met and fell in love with an almost-two year old boy named Faraji. He was a sweet, beautiful little toddler, and they both instantly felt they were meant to be his parents. The moment they got home they began the long process od adoption. The entire family was supportive of their choice to adopt, and everyone contributed gifts and clothes and other things and sent packages to the orphanage. During the year-and-a-half process, Lily became pregnant! She and Owen were extremely excited and immediately sent their alomst-son, whom they named Jesse, meaning gift, news of his coming sibling. The baby, a daughter, arrived exactly a week before Jesse arrived from the orphanage. Lily and Owen named her Evelyn, a name they both loved, and Grace after Lily's mother's middle name. Lily and baby Evie were both perfectly healthy and able to leave the hospital in time to greet Jesse at the airport. They were nervous but excited, becoming the parents of two within a week. Everyone in the family has fallen in love with Jesse and Evie. Lily and Owen's parents are all excited abotu their first grandchildren, and Lily's sisters and brother are doting aunts/uncle. Owen is an only child, but the rest of his family is just as adoring as Lily's.
