- The second Prince was just born and the whole royal family is very pleased, especially Queen Mother Louise.
The little boy got his first three names from his godfathers: Leopold George, William's little brother, Theodore his maternal grandfather and William's cousin Robert. Stephen was the name of one of the five sons of the first ruler of the Brown family, King Louis. His fourth godparent is William's sister Caroline.

Thankfully, no complications were present, and the health of both mother and child quickly healed. The daughter was named Madeleine Sybille Beatriz Ignacia, Madeleine as a choice, Sybille as her maternal grandmother's suggestion, Beatriz and Ignacia by choice. Apparently, now that both parents of both sides have been honoured, the names are to be chosen freely by the royal couple.

Only a few years after the birth of Grand Duchess Elena, Sergei and Josefina were pleasantly, but very surprised at the prospect of adding twin girls to their growing family. Sofia and Adelaide were born in the spring in France. Their parents have their hands full with two toddlers and two newborns, but they are all very happy.
