Nate and Amelie welcome home their son Jin from Korea! Jin is 3 years old and he is settling into the home and family really well. Scarlett, Felix, Iris and Pearl are delighted to have a little brother and they have all really taken to him. He has started nursery where he is becoming a little less shy and is starting to make some friends. He has black hair, dark brown eyes and light brown skin. He is quite short for his age. The name given by his birth mother was Jin Iseul, after her father and so we decided to keep that as it had a special meaning and we added Hamish, a name that we have loved for years.

After deciding on Russia, the family made a trip there to discover an adorable little boy in an orphanage. Ryan and Briana adopted six month old Dimitri Mikhail Frank and brought him home to LA. Dimitri was born on February 4th, 2019 and was abandoned at birth, he has blue eyes and dark hair and is a more quiet baby. They changed his birth name from Innokentiy to Demetri Mikhail Frank to honor his heritage and Briana's father Frank and Ryan's father Michael. The girls are adjusting very well to their new brother and now Ryan and Briana are considering adopting again.

Nicole and and Alexander, both now making more money than they even dreamed of, decided to adopt a son. They decided on an Eastern-European nation after reading an article about orphanages there. They contacted an agency and were matched with a beautiful little boy. The entire family went to Bucharest to get him. Lucian is a beautiful child with black hair, dark eyes surrounded by dramatic lashes, and creamy skin. All of the girls adore their little brother, and he stole Nicole and Alexander's hearts the moment they saw him. He was brought to the orphanage by his teenaged mother, who had tried and discovered she could not take care of him. She left a letter for his new parents, asking that they update her and send her pictures of him when they can. Nicole and Alexander agreed to keep the name she gave him, adding Alexander as a second middle name. Lucian fit right into his new family and has made everyone very happy.

Luka Maksim was born on March 7 in Moscow, Russia to a teenage mother. He was left at the orphanage hours after his birth because his young mother lacked the skills or desire to care for him. After thinking about adoption for quite some time, (as it was always a dream of Lucy's to adopt,) they heard about little Luka, who they fell in love with as soon as they met and began the process. It took several months, but on December 21, they brought home the best Christmas present they could ask for, a fifth child. Nathaniel and Lucy were instantly in love with his name, and decided to only add Peter as a second middle name, to honor Nathaniel's brother who passed away just before Luka was brought home. Luka's older siblings were all thrilled to meet him and have been very helpful since he's been home.

Baby Finn joins older sister Isla
Thomas and Em were very surprised to find out she was expecting twins. It took a while before they got used to the idea. Thomas was concerned about the money; although their house was big enough for the new additions, he didn't know whether he would need to find a new job this time. Em had the worst first trimester. With two babies instead of one her morning sickness and general discomfort was worse than with her other pregnancies. However, as the months went by, she started to feel better and really enjoy the pregnancy. She loved to feel the babies move inside her belly.
Isla and Finn were very excited with the babies too, especially after their parents told them there were a boy and a girl. Isla loved to sing to them, and Finn wanted his brother to be finally here so they could play together.
Now that the babies are here, the family is slowly adjusting to the new routines.
Thomas and Em couldn't be happier, and have decided that after two girls and two boys their family is complete.

Tom and Em were very excited when Tom got a promotion. Although they had thought their family was complete, they decided they wanted to adopt. After two years of waiting, the Turners welcome a two-year-old boy from Romania, called Lucius Laurentiu. He has dark brown hair and green eyes, and is a sweet, lively boy. Thomas and Emily decided to add Jonathan as his second mn because they think their meaning is very fitting.

Rowan has recently received a huge promotion at work, and the Heath's have become very financially well off. Lila has decided to stop working for the mean time and be a full time mum, especially seeing as they have a new addition in the house!
Rowan, Lila, Felix & Ciaran were watching TV one night after all the younger kids were in bed when a documentary about Russian orphanges came on TV. They were all heart broken about what the conditions that they saw on their TV screens, and that night, as Lila was tucking Felix into bed he asked her why they had so much, but those kids on the TV had nothing, and then asked if he could send some of his toys to the orphanage. Lila's heart swelled with pride at her selfless son, but he did get her thinking too... Maybe there was a child in that situation that they COULD help...
Lila discussed her idea with Rowan, and he agreed. The next day they dropped the kids off with a babysitter and went and visited an international adoption agency to get the ball rolling. A month later Rowan and Lila travelled to Russia to visit some of the orphanges and see if they could find the child that would soon become a part of their family.
Visiting those orphanages was terribly hard, the conditions were atrocious... But at the 3rd orphanage they visited, a 18 month old girl with dark brown hair, and the biggest blue eyes wrapped herself around Rowan's leg. Her name was Sofya, and she had been abandoned by her drug addicted mother when she was only 3 days old. For the Heath's, it was love at first sight and they knew that this was the little girl that they wanted to take home with them.
That decided, it still took another 18 months of paperwork, and political red tape to get throught before they were finally allowed to bring their little girl home. They changed her name from Sofya to the english variant, Sophia, and she's fitted in with her new brothers and sisters very well.

His mother died in child birth and his father did not want to keep him after. Johannes is very bright blonde with large green eyes. He has a rather well behaved temperment but took a while to warm up to everyone. Lizzy and Greg wanted to give Johannes another middle name to make sure he knows that they feel he is apart of their family. Heath and Johnny seem to have a very special bond together. Heath makes sure that Johnny has an easy time getting around since he has not mastered English and the Kavanaghs have not mastered German.
