Poppy Dawn Wilson was born prematurely at 20 August that year. Complications arose when she seemed to have trouble breathing. Ariadne was nearly sick with worry, and her health seemed to deteriorate also. Suprisingly enough, the twins Dickie and Vinny took an initiative to skip class, pick a bundle of wildflowers from the meadow close by, and sprint all the way to the hospital to give it to Mama. Ariadne and Nathan was very touched by the boys' gesture of affection, and Mama started to show improvements in her health as well.
