Rachel Shaina's Keep Up Yourself Congrats Round 2
Round 1: http://www.behindthename.com/bb/view.php?id=3432047&board=game Round 2You can join or drop at anytime. It is now 1905. Five years have passed—what happened? Did you have a kid every year? Did you have three sets of twins? Did you only have one child? Did you buy a goat? Did you, perhaps, even lose a family member? It’s up to you. Like last round, you are free to do what you like. Check out this link if you need help with names: http://www.weddingvendors.com/baby-names/popular/1905/ If you want (you don’t have to) to randomize what you got, go here: http://www.random.org/dice/
Roll a die for every birth you had in the 5 year span. What you get will go as follows:
1 – a son
2 – a daughter
3 – twins (roll again for genders, even for girls, odd for boys)
4 – a daughter
5 – a son
6 – twins (roll again for genders, even for girls, odd for boys) Hopefully this makes sense. Try to write something to go with your family too! I’ll have some events for you next round.

Since the birth of their fifth child in 1905 the Sutherlands have fallen on hard times. With work thin on the ground in the Western Highlands, Robert has been forced to take on seasonal work in Glasgow leaving behind his young wife to bring up their children more or less alone. However Catherine is still struggling to cope with the loss of two of her children who arrived stillborn in 1902 and 1904 (tragedies which had previously pushed her to the brink of depression) and so her widowed sister, Elizabeth, has moved in with the family in a bid to help her sister with the running of the home.

DS: David Henry (b. 1/13/1903) [2]In 1901, Joseph and Grace welcomed another son, James. The arrival was bittersweet, as Joseph's grandfather had passed away only a few weeks before the birth. However, this also meant that Joseph inherited much of his grandfather's estate; at only 21, he was one of the wealthiest and most successful men in Boston.James was followed two years later by another son, David. By this time, Joseph had expanded his business down south, as far as West Virginia. While on a business trip in 1904, Joseph fell ill with typhoid. Too weak to be moved, and not wanting to infect his family, he could not return home for almost a month. Eventually he made a full recovery, but it was a close call.In early 1905 Grace became pregnant with the couple's fourth child. With three rambunctious boys in the house, they were hoping to have a girl this time. Their wish came true, and Grace gave birth to a daughter, Stella Rose. But there had been complications during the pregnancy, and the baby had been born premature. She lived for only a week. Joseph and Grace were devastated over the loss of their daughter, even more so when the doctor told them that there was a very slim chance that Grace could ever have more children. But they determined to move on, and took enormous joy in the fact that they had three healthy boys to be thankful for.

William and Ruth love their farm and so far it has made enough money to support them and their growing family (which they hope to make even larger in the next five years). Two years after they had Will Ruth gave birth to not one baby, but twins. This was a surprise to both Ruth and William. Ruth and William had boy-girl twins. They were glad that they had boy-girl twins because William had wanted another son and Ruth wanted a daughter. They named their twin children Henry John and Rose Elizabeth. Two years after the birth of the twins, Ruth gave birth to a daughter who they named Catherine Grace. Will, Henry, and Rose all love little Cathy. Will, Henry, and Rose also want more brothers and sisters in the future and Ruth and William want to have more children, since they have both always wanted a large family.

DH: Robert Andrew (26)
DW: Elisabeth Anne (Astor) "Lisbeth" (24)
DS: Robert Andrew Jr. "Bobby" (b. 1900)(5)
DS: Edward Stephen (b. 1905)It is 1905. Robert, Lisbeth, and Bobby have been enjoying a happy life together. Robert and Lisbeth tried for another child when Bobby was a year old, but Lisbeth had two miscarriages, and the couple was discouraged. When Bobby was four, Lisbeth became sick every morning and suspected that she was pregnant. She went to the doctor, and he confirmed her suspicions. She was very excited, but scared that she would lose this baby too. She didn't tell Robert until he became persistent about her morning sickness. He was excited too, but also scared. The couple waited to tell Bobby that they were expecting a baby until he started asking questions about Lisbeth's protruding stomach. Robert and Lisbeth welcomed their second son, Edward Stephen North. They were elated that Lisbeth had carried to term, and that she had delivered a healthy baby boy. Bobby loves his new little brother, and he plays with him all the time. Robert and Lisbeth are still living in their mansion in Philadelphia, but Robert will be considered a senior partner of the law firm next year, and he intends to move to Decatur, Illinois to open up a practice there. Lisbeth and Bobby are excited about the move, but a little apprehensive about leaving their family and friends behind.

We jsut welcomed a daughter too. We named her Augusta to honor John's father, August. She is our little angel and our happiness just like her two brothers.

Little Sky now has a brother Leo, and two sisters, Ava and Jenny. Sky and Leo are close in age, and are the best of friends.Ethel decided that both boys were old enough to start learning school lessons, so she’s begun some homeschooling them. Sometimes Ava will show interest in it as well, but not always. More often, she likes bothering Jenny, which Ethel doesn’t like. All the children will begin attending public school when they are 6. Edward has a good job working for a company that began the year after Sky was born, it’s called Walgreens. The family always has food on the table and they seem to be doing very well. Both Ethel and Edward are looking forward to expanding their family.
