We have found two children for you.
Kanchana Priti [2]
Chana is a two year old girl from India. She was abandoned because her parents could not support her along with her brothers. Chana is a very shy little girl who loves the outdoors. She is very active and can run around for hours. She is malnurished due to the little amount of food she was given while living with her family. She is taking medications and vitamins to help her. She has adjusted rather well to being away from her family, although she has trouble sleeping and we assume she has been having nightmares. Chana does not speak yet- we do not know if she is unable, if no one worked with her on speaking, or if she simply choses not to.
Bo-Xiuying [7 months]
Bo is 7 months old and was adandoned when only a few days old. Since then, she has been raised in a foster family and been on the adoption waiting list when we found you! Bo loves to play with other children and adores animals! She also loves to be held and isn't the least bit shy. She is a smiling little girl who has the brightest giggle.

Thank you for our gorgeous daughters! It has been a year since they joined our family and they are both doing very well.
Kanchana, whom we call Hana, is still shy and quite but has made tremendous progress. After 8 months of speech therapy she is now able to speak like a slightly delayed three-year-old. Her therapy will probably continue at least until she reaches school age. Nobody is sure what the cause of her language delay is but we are all happy that she can tell us what she wants and how she is feeling. Hana has also started to eat more--she loves pizza but her favorite foods are the Indian dishes we make every weekend. She now is at the 75th percentile for height and the 50th percentile for weight--not perfect, but she is improving. After she learned to speak, she told us that she was indeed having nightmares about the day her parents abandoned her. We remind her several times a day that we love her very much, she is ours now, and we will never give her up. Her nightmares are slowly getting better and she seems much happier.
Hana absolutely loves Lucy the kitten and Lucy sleeps on her bed every night. She also really enjoys running around in the garden with Elena. Hana worships her big sister Sofia and Sofia is very sweet about allowing Hana to follow her around everywhere. Sofia and Elena were major factors in helping Hana to learn to speak--they never stop talking and Hana learned a lot from them. Sofia, Elena and Hana all share a room and can often be found playing on the floor in the morning before Rowan and I get up--very sweet! Her favorite activities are climbing the trees in our garden, planting flowers, and chasing her sisters around the house.

It sounds like everything is going perfect! Thanks for updating us!
