As a belated birthday present, Nate and I decided that we would give the girls the pets they've always wanted. Kerri has named her parrot Lulu, and Maybelle named her hamsters rather hilariously after Nate's brothers, Thad (Thaddeus) and Laurie (Laurence). They're both very happy on our farm and enjoy getting up early in the morning with Nate to feed the animals.
