Current chilren:
1) Hope Malia, 15, skating and swimming, emotionally disabled due to rape at age 12. (She trusts no one, ever.)
2) Anne Gabrielle "Anna," 6, coloring, emotionally disabled due to witnessing her mother kill her father. (Afraid of all strangers, esp. adults.)
3) Sofia Linnea, 5, playing imagination games, physically disabled due to severe cerebral palsy. (Wheelchair, artificial voice generator, hearing aids.)
4) Katariina Johanna "Kaia," 4, reading, emotionally disabled due to severe child abuse by a father now in prison for murder. (Deathly afraid of all men, hardly ever speaks.)
5) We are awaiting the results of a previous adoption form, which will allow 1 or 2 children to enter our family.
Pets: none, but willing to have some.
Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
Languages your family speaks: I speak Finnish, English, and the languages the girls speak. Hope speaks Hawaiian and English; Anna speaks French and English; Sofia's voice generator can form any language, but she herself is Swedish; Kaia speaks Estonian on the very, very rare occasion that she does speak but understands both that and English.

Number of children you'd like to adopt: 1 - 2
Genders: either, but a boy would be nice. Whatever you'd like, though.

Disabilities?(what kind and how severe) any, any severity

Any other info?: Go ahead, be brutal :) I am a single woman living alone. Having lost my trust in men early in life, I have no intentions of getting married; thus if you have any children with fear of men, I would be a good mother for them. :) Yes, I am completely capable of taking care of children and making a living on my own. I am willing to learn any language, adopt any race, deal with any disabilities, hire any type of counselor, etc. Please give me the children that others are too timid or otherwise unwilling to adopt because of those details. Wasswa Jengo is a ten year old boy from Africa. He has Polio in his right arm and both of his legs. Because of this fact he was abandoned and left to die. Luckily our agents found him and he is doing good. Doctors don't believe the Polio will spread to his other limbs. He is also has Autism. He rarely speaks and when he does it is in a broken African dialect that is very difficult to understand. He enjoys watching colorful tv shows and listening to music.
Please let us know how Wasswa is doing!
