He has been good for Anton, and they both are improving. I have a history of fights myself so I have been doing alright at handling these two boys. Oliver is only 5 or 6 months older than Anton, so they are very close and are in the same grade. They share a room, and enjoy talking about school, sports, and girls. Oliver plays hockey, but Anton doesn't like it; he prefers swimming and diving. He gets average grades.Ivan is also building a good relationship with his new brothers. He is in the 9th grade as well and has been on the honor roll every semester. He is very dedicated and works hard. He has many friends, mostly from the soccer team we had him join, and enjoys school. He shares a room with Nick and they get along wonderfully. He had a hard time adjusting at first, especially since his relationship with Anton was horrible. He is doing alright now, though he is away with friends more often than not. Joy, at first, hated our family. She would run away and get into all sorts of trouble. She pierced her lip and got 5 new ear piercings, and constantly fought with the rest of the family. Josie was very scared of her. However, when we took her and her brothers to see their parents in prison, she was humbled. She saw how much worse life could be and started getting along. She and Josie – alone in a house of boys! – are best of friends. Joy often takes her little sister along with her friends, who now don't criticize her for it (mostly for fear of getting beat up). She gets slightly below average grades, but considering all things, she is doing alright.
